Yeah, I mean I burn stuff to disc all the time. Mostly Blu-Rays, but DVDs and CDs for smaller content. Tip: use dvdisaster when recording to fill up the empty space on the iso file for error-correction later, and time and date-stamp the disc so you know when to reburn it.
