Waze already answers if that exit is really worth taking in a much simpler way. Other use cases.. maybe.. but i'm not that excited that a drone follows most cars :) If a drone could bring your electrical vehicle some extra charge by docking on the roof and then going back to closest charger... well that would be a true value added feature.
