Anchor was kind of like this when it started and, over time, grew into a podcast platform. While I like podcasts, I honestly have a hard time imagining using an audio version of Twitter.
- ljm 7y agoAn audio version of Twitter would be utterly insufferable. It’s bad enough reading it, but to listen to the same thing would be an effective torture device. Like /r/publicfreakout on steroids.
- meowface 7y agoThat's what would make it so entertaining, though. As someone who's never used Twitter, I'd totally use that for laughs.
- larrywright 7y agoYeah, this probably appeals to someone but I can't imagine using it. Part of the appeal of Twitter et al is that you can post updates any place and any time. Audio doesn't work that way (unless you want to be that guy, and I do not).
