They do the bare minimal to make sure you're not actively bleeding (and stitching), measure the baby and then you're out. When you get home the kraamzorg is there waiting for you. I think it's a much better system. You don't need hospital services (surgery, anesthesia etc.) anymore. Why would you want to stay in a hospital?
