Beef Bowl Capitalism (how deflation leads to social problems in Japan)
- jbm 16y agoFor what it's worth, the government is fruit to phase out the more abusive workplace situations that are noted in the article.
- neworbit 16y agoWhat does fruit mean in that context?
- jbm 16y agoFor what it's worth, I meant to say: "For what it's worth, the government is trying to phase out the more abusive workplace situations that are noted in the article." I have no idea how that got auto-corrected into "fruit". (For those curious, the specific acts they want to change are the rules for keeping a store open at night with only one employee.)

- davidj 16y agoI read the article and it saids absolutely nothing about deflation.
- JoachimSchipper 16y agoWhere does "deflation" come from? Not the article's headline, and it's not really fair to put a commenter's words in the author's mouth.
