Can't tell you whether to sell or not, but I think there are going to be plenty of companies struggling under Mongo DB for a while (I work for one: we know it sucks, dislike using it, don't have the significant resources needed to get off. And the product is still growing rapidly, so we're getting more locked-in). At this point I think it's a coin-toss whether we move to an RDBMS or try to use their newish JSON Schema support (and other features) to achieve some sanity. And, to be fair, Mongo's hosted management console is really good, the support has been excellent, and since we switched over to their hosted solution I don't think we've had a single problem that wasn't of our own making.
