- hxegon 7y agoI mean I'd argue if you're questioning it then you should get out because you A) already perceive enough risk that you consider it questionable and B) It sounds like you're sticking with it because you already have it and it's been a winner historically. But that doesn't mean you should stick with it :P Downsize or diversify Good luck!
- vosper 7y agoCan't tell you whether to sell or not, but I think there are going to be plenty of companies struggling under Mongo DB for a while (I work for one: we know it sucks, dislike using it, don't have the significant resources needed to get off. And the product is still growing rapidly, so we're getting more locked-in). At this point I think it's a coin-toss whether we move to an RDBMS or try to use their newish JSON Schema support (and other features) to achieve some sanity. And, to be fair, Mongo's hosted management console is really good, the support has been excellent, and since we switched over to their hosted solution I don't think we've had a single problem that wasn't of our own making.
- ISL 7y agoHold what you are willing to hold if the market remains closed for the next five years.
- bongobongo 7y agoIf you are asking questions like this you probably should not be buying individual stocks

- twblalock 7y agoThey report earnings on Wednesday. We'll see if the license change had an impact on revenue. My guess is it won't have a big impact, because customers who care about the license being open source probably wouldn't have been paying MongoDB in the first place.
