I was hanged-up on by a 911 operator while I needed their help because she thought I did not have an emergency. Lucky for me someone else was monitoring the call and I was called back as soon as I put down the phone to tell me help was coming. When I read these 911 stories it makes me wonder about the training these operators are getting and whether many are just burned out and should think of going into a new career.
