I wonder what they see that makes it suspicious. Carbon monoxide is not easy to murder with and there are a host of straightforward reasons why someone in their car would die from it. Was there a tube found going from the tailpipe into a window?

With any car made in the last 25 years that old trick would take ages and probably make you sick and weird for a while before killing you

    Catalytic converters. The exhaust is cleaned at the engine before it goes through the tailpipe.
