IIRC males tend to be more successful in their attempts. So the women may have tried more but not successfully enough to tip the scales.

- viklove 7y agoYes, and sometimes individuals "attempt" suicide not actually to end their own lives, but just as a call for attention or help. One thing can be sure though: the ones shooting themselves aren't in this camp.
