Mine is less than 6 months old and already at least 3 keys are malfunctioning. The Apple rep reckoned I would be without my machine for at least 3 days - and that is unacceptable as I need it for my work. In the end I bought an external keyboard. They don't need to offer free trade-in. When the new machine is available I will buy it. Then return this broken one for a full refund. And there are literally half a dozen laws in the UK that entitle me to do so.
