It's also legal for everyone else in the neighborhood to send this footage willingly to the police anytime they see a "suspicious person" in the neighborhood. It doesn't make it good. I believe this is a bad thing. I believe that citizens helping subsidize the creation of an Amazon surveillance product that they then sell to police forces is a bad thing, even if it's legal.
