Isn't a major major point that package registries and or modules don't need review board? thus eliminating gatekeeping?
- tosh 7y agoI read the review board as optional extension to the idea. The database / infrastructure could be permissionless and you could still define curated subsets of functions in addition to that.
- pjc50 7y agoThe gatekeeping can be a feature; centralising security review is definitely worthwhile.
