They could have used a colon instead to avoid the confusion.

- tc313 7y agoIn this case, either one would work. A semi-colon separates two independent clauses, while a colon can be used to define or introduce something. I think it is more natural to use a colon (“:”) here because you’re defining what Douglas Adams was right about, but either one would make the title more clear.
- taneq 7y agoSure, but you'd have to capitalise the 'knowledge' after the colon. :) If you're willing to make two edits rather than one, then yeah, either would work.
