- katzgrau 7y agoAcceptance of germ theory (and the subsequent use of antiseptics) really only came about near the end of the 19th century. The hardships of pre modern life are frequently overblown in my otherwise baseless opinion.
- Kecelij 7y agoI know what you mean, but if I followed that anxious mindset.... then anyone who would die from a minor scratch probably deserves to die. Darwin in action, yes please.
