I’d argue Apple Pay and loyalty card scanning basically deprecated a wallet.
I use my banks app for loyalty card scanning because it doesn’t work properly in Apple Wallet yet.
- orev 7y agoI agree that paying by phone is convenient and pretty cool, but you really need to be in a special kind of first world bubble to think it’s a valid and future proof complete replacement for a wallet. There are just so many failure scenarios that are so easy to imagine it’s hardly even worth talking about.
