Agreed. I love OOP--C# in particular is my favorite language--but I always advise more junior folks to avoid inheritance in favor of composition and DIP. I do wish languages like C# would make it easier to implement the "delegating member" pattern so I don't have to rely on ReSharper to generate all the boilerplate, but it's a small price to pay to avoid the pitfalls of inheritance.
