True, but that technical limitation inadvertently created a "style" and some people like that style even if the technology now exists to make art with more detail. For example, just because the technology exists to make a virtually unlimited range of sounds and effects doesn't mean that we should abolish simple acoustic music... some people like that style, which originally existed because that's all the technology that was available.
