I noticed that most criticsm indeed concerns "shallow presentation" and lack od deep (e.g. mathematical) analysis and explanations - and I could agree with that. But by "inspiring" I meant "getting people excited about machine learning" rather than "teaching people how to ML" - and I think he is great in that sense. Maybe "AI coach" would be relevant. His choice of topics has some "clickbait" features, but that's exactly what makes me subscribe his channel.
