So Costco doesn't have to spin off the Kirkland brand even though they operate an online marketplace (Costco.com), but Amazon does with AmazonBasics? So many things wrong with that.
- bratbag 7y agoDoes costco have a web platform for selling goods? Does it exceed the revenue limit? Does it sell own brand goods through its web platform? Yes to all three, so it would be caught by this law as it is stated here.
- DuskStar 7y agoI think Costco might actually not have a web platform as described, if there are no third-party merchants there. Presumably all the products on their site go through them, just like the products in their physical stores.
