Towards a Twilio, for open [crypto] networks
Today, we launched our cloud platform for open network and blockchain managed services, https://bloq.cloud/. The basic idea is to bring more users into the crypto space with an AWS-like offering, starting their journey in the cloud, and eventually leading to the fabled Fully Decentralized self-hosted configuration.
Our vision is to do for open blockchain network development what Twilio did for mobile integration and take away all of the friction and hurdles that get in the way of building great multi-blockchain apps.
Here are the services we are starting with:
- Nodes-on-demand for Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, and Ethereum Classic (BloqCloud Nodes)
- APIs, indexed blockchain data, and event notification for Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash (BloqCloud Connect)
More network and services to come. If you work on a network or protocol that you want included and supported, I want to hear from you.
The BloqCloud Connect service has a free tier (500 API requests per month, limited event/block/address monitoring). For $24/yr or $4/mo (“Starter”) you 10x the API requests and 4x the monitoring. BloqCloud accepts credit card and Bitcoin, with MET and Lightning soon.
