The European Commission. Remember, the Commission gets to propose legislation, the Parliament (which you elect) doesn't.
- renaudg 7y agoThis is the executive arm. Commissioners are appointed by each member state's governement. This is no less democratic than the way UK cabinet ministers are appointed.
- 08-15 7y agoMaybe, maybe not. But the UK parliament gets to propose legislation, doesn't it? The German Bundestag sure does.
