It's a thing I've reckoned with my entire life, though I only really realized what it was in the last 5 years.
- Jedi72 7y agoI gave been waiting #HotPrivilege or equivalent to become a trending hashtag since this whole privilege-acknowledging affair got started.
- ravenstine 7y agoWe all understand it, but many of us aren't as conscious about its extent. I only became truly cognizant of the privilege of beauty when I lost weight; I don't think people who have been skinny their whole lives can fathom just how different people treat you if you're overweight.
