It would be interesting to have an option in CLIs that will translate all short options into long options. This way you can take somebody's `cut -sf 2 -d \|` and turn it into `cut --only-delimited --fields 2 --delimiter '|' Sadly this would require a convention along the lines of a --whatif --convert-to-long in every CLI ...
