This is so true unfortunately. But success has almost nothing to do with being more intelligent as success depends mainly on luck.
- ashildr 7y agoThis is self selecting nonsense with a pile of no true Scotsman and a good dose of mawkishness, very transparently downplaying the work of successful people. I wouldn’t want to know you, whatever IQ you have.
- pizzazzaro 7y agoMost of that luck? More often than not involves being born into wealth that the rest of us cant even grok. So very few of them even can, and its supposed to be "their" money. Or we can grovel at their feet. "Please mister Bank, mister VC - can I do a thing to maybe make the world better?" Lick that boot. Sell out your premise. Only think about what will make money for them. And we wonder why even hackers go homeless as real estate prices explode.
