It is just looking up the value of a key named `to` in an object called `fields`, using [dot notation](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Operators/Property_accessors https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Refe...):
