You can absolutely use lidar pointclouds for object detection. It can be hard with low resolution lidar in a cluttered environment, though.

- cameldrv 7y agoOf course you can use it. The claim Hotz seemed to be making was that the major AV stacks weren't doing it, which would have been major news to me.
