    That can be very easily changed. Infact i'd say most writers do change it either to appear older(to add credibility) or newer(to stay relevant.)

    I, too, thought I had magic patent expiring powers, but that line shows today’s date and the status as of today. If you check tomorrow, it’ll say “2019-08-17 Application status is Expired” instead.
