What do you suggest instead? UTF-32?

- alecco 16y agoFast compression is almost as fast as UTF-8 processing. Sticking to old APIs and ASCII for so long is ridiculous and inefficient. Again, down-votes of disagreement for contrarian opinions. Lovely HN.
