I am ignorant, might be really wrong and stupid, but aren't most problems in the world just curve-fitting in high dimensional spaces? Isn't human education simply discovering spaces that somewhat resemble a reality with arbitrarily many dimensions and finding functions that match curves/surfaces/bodies to some degree of precison and exactitude?
