I think this is a very commonly told story in the US.

- Ididntdothis 7y agoThere is no data. Everything in the US medical system is opaque. It’s the same story with hospitals. They say they have to overcharge everybody to compensate for the people who don’t pay. But there are no real numbers to demonstrate that.
