It's for sure true that an algorithm setting the price instead of a human is going to increase sales and be beneficial to both the retail seller and Amazon, but where does it end? Right now it's optional but it's clear that it's only a matter of time until it becomes mandatory. I think these companies, especially Google & Amazon are only going to stop when they are split apart by the government due to monopoly concerns.
