- gingabriska 7y agoI think the difference is between the one which you can grow Vs the one which you can synthesize. If you can grow a drug then you need to move it if you can synthesize it locally then there is no need to transport it. Synthesizing a drug has much smaller footprint so easier to hide the operation Vs growing some drug.
- praptak 7y agoI'd say that manufactured covers all processes, so extracted from a plant is manufactured but not synthetic.
