This is the only space I see _R taking off for a while. The cost of development is still too high for consumers (and developing for them). Using it for training and virtual modeling is where it shines...for now.

The internet has helped post formal education somewhat. I'd say citation needed, similarly I'd look to see how much of modelling is looking at the object and how much is calculating, I suspect it's more the later. In this examle I guess the time was creating the wall model.
