Couldn't disagree more. I took eight weeks off when my child was born and I couldn't be happier that I did. I fail to see why it isn't a "wise idea" and why returning to work quickly "seems better".
- op00to 7y agoPretending to be busy is very effective as long as you are there to keep the ruse alive. Once you’re not there and your work is how you’re judged, things fall apart quickly. That’s why it’s a bad idea for some people to take leave. :)
