I'm one of those and have never had any issues with charging. I park in a public garage with 6 charging spots near the entrance and once every 1-2 weeks when I get home I park at the chargers, plug in the car (at 11KW Type2) and move it to a normal parking spot when it's full (typically 4-5 hours later). So the time I "waste" every 1-2 weeks is pretty much the extra walk to the garage and back.
