Drastic reduction in pollution of my local environment. Eventual huge reduction of CO2 emissions (once mining and other activities become fossil-fuel free enterprises). Small reduction now assuming local electricity sources are CO2-free. Perhaps me aiming to reduce my CO2 emissions won't make a difference. I'm going to do it anyway. You should too.
