When I bike around Seattle, there are a plethora of Radpower eBikes with various modifications, either for towing, or hauling kids. Cost, traffic and the convienence of parking has driven this modeswitch, as you can park near anywhere and rarely have blocking traffic like in traditional cars. Electric Scooters are also extending the range people are willing to walk, making short trips much more convenient, and leveraging distant transit much easier.
