- zuuow 7y agoBoth tourism and Python use an insane amount of energy, thus they are equally bad for the environment. But they both feed a lot of people so we can't just get rid of them just like that :/
- jerf 7y agoClearly, the Hacker News gestalt is providing us a solution here; set Python on the tourists. "Sir, in order to visit the Eiffel Tower today, I'm going to need you to tell me what this Python code does...."
- gumby 7y agoGiven some of the code I've had to spelunking this may be an unsolvable problem. The Eiffel Tower was built as a tourist destination so they'd make the problem easy, but this might be good for Machu Picchu Actually for the latter it could be a knowledge of the history quiz, or a leave-no-trace quiz...
