A very undervalued tool for making lasting change. It would have been great if someone from the Occupy Wall Street movement had run for mayor of New York.

- einpoklum 7y agoVery often, that seat has a lot less power than it might seem from the official title. Plus, in the pursuit of that seat you are often vetted, effectively if not literally, for not posing the danger of possibly fomenting significant change.
