I suspect this is just the pendulum swinging too far in the other direction. In a year the PhDs and such will be back to normal. Sometimes it's just easier to clamp down on everything and then ease things than it is to try to figure all the angles to fix things by introducing lots of small adjustments to try to stop abuses.
- cylinder 7y agoNo there is a specific political agenda right now to deny or refuse or delay as much as possible. You have to challenge and spend more on fees to get supervisory review, litigate, appeal etc and they know most employers aren't willing to do that for these "disposable" employees.
