Unfortunately, this will just increase imports from countries that don't ban them and make life harder for local farmers. It's the blessing of free trade based on lowest common denominators.
- tim333 7y agoIf it proves successful I guess they may ban those pesticides across Europe.
- justinator 7y agoMaybe, maybe not. France does have a history of banning imports of fruits that contain pesticides it itself bans.
