As a homeowner with what seems to be an ever-growing list of projects, I noticed that I would unceremoniously delete them when complete. The projects themselves quickly become part of the background of life, so I realized this deletion was depriving me of the ability to appreciate just how much I do accomplish. Now I’ve started moving them to a “done” list, with a date and photos. It’s not a panacea, but it feels really good and helps build motivation when I review that list and watch it grow.
