Academia is a lost cause in its current high cost form. They have a financial incentive to provide a playground for feelings to entice as many students as possible. Those students borrow money to attend that they can never be forgiven on. University administrators pocket most of the money while educators get pushed downward as the primary motivator for attending a school becomes the culture for students to be “comfortable”. The pendulum will swing back. I don’t know in what form yet.
