The two needn't be mutually exclusive. Someone could have been enticed to look the other way. He could have had materials made available which he properly shouldn't have, etc. Now I'm not claiming any of these things, but I can see why there's going to be a field day with this one. That everyone saw it coming should have made it less probable, not more.
