And the 76 will cut even thick, hard to cut hair without bogging down; think "fades in natural African-American hair" which will absolutely bog down cheap clippers. That said, if you have Caucasian hair and just want to do an acceptable trim-up on your top-of-head haircut, the $20 kit will last years and do just fine. You'll feel the difference if shaving anything else though.. even with easy to cut hair, the immense power and smoothness of a true professional clipper is amazing.
