Ask HN: Is Kotlin Enterprise Ready?
I have been building enterprise products for a long time in Java. If I were to start building a new product in 2019, is Kotlin a good alternative to Java?
Are there any gotchas I should be aware of? Are there any compatibility issues with old Java libraries?
- smt88 7y agoYes. What old libraries do you need? Java is such a huge community thay I've never had a need that required an old library. There's always an actively maintained one to pull in. https://medium.com/@daveford/who-is-using-kotlin-84b11b4fb51a https://medium.com/@daveford/who-is-using-kotlin-84b11b4fb51...
