- jfengel 7y agoSo if you come to the mainland from Svalbard, do you have to go through an entry process as if you were coming from outside the Schengen area?

- lb1lf 7y agoWhile you do not need a visa to go to Svalbard, staying there for an extended period of time is non-trivial; there is not much housing for rent, and Svalbard... Well, isn't very tent friendly. The governor, Sysselmannen, can ship you off to the mainland if you are not able to eke out a living and keep yourself housed.
