I met Toni Morrison when I was 12. She was kinda rude to me, I wonder if it’s because I didn’t see her as anything but an accomplished author. I’ve always wondered about that moment if she intentionally was rude or was just anxious from being in the spotlight at the time. I don’t know why I thought during all these years that I would get to meet her again.. I was planning to be more adept at conversation with her.
