As an aside, the original Kinect and Kinect for Xbox 360 use different technologies for 3D detection. The original Kinect projects an infrared pattern and then detects the deformation of the pattern to determine distance/shape. The Kinect for Xbox 360 uses more traditional time of flight.
- acd10j 7y agoyou are confusing between Kinect for XBox 360 and Kinect 2 that is Kinect for XBox one, Kinect 2 ( kinect for xbox one) uses time of flight. Original kinect and Kinect for xbox 360 are same and uses structured light sensor.
